Shirts will be distributed to classrooms for delivery to all students and staff who ordered shirts.
We have a very limited number of extra shirts in Child Small, Child Medium, Child Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, and 2XL. If you need a different size OR missed out on ordering a shirt and want one, please email garvyschoolaac@gmail.com.
The Walk-a-Thon is a Garvy tradition and this year is no different!
Each year, the Walk-a-Thon is the AAC’s main fundraiser for: classroom supplies; grants to every grade, specials, and special education; STEM items such as ChromeBooks, SmartBoards; and other equipment essential for successful remote and in-person learning.
1. Register for the DIY Walk-a-Thon by clicking the DONATE button below.
2. Anytime between May 1 – 15th, go for a walk, run, bike ride, skateboard, scooter, skip, hop (you get the idea), with your family or friends.
3. Snap a few pictures or shoot some videos and upload them to Flipgrid HERE. Print out your own masked Garvy Bulldog to color and take along with you on your walk. Upload a picture with him too!
4. $30+ donations will earn you a 2020-2021 Walk-a-Thon baseball-style long-sleeved shirt. This year's shirt was designed by 6th graders Julia Markut and Alexis Viola. T-Shirts will be delivered after the event.
If you donate $30 or more, please complete the T-Shirt Order Form for EACH shirt recipient.
